"Praise the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens. Praise him for his acts of power; praise him for his surpassing greatness. Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and lyre, praise him with the timbrel and dancing, praise him with the strings and pipe, praise him with the clash of cymbal, praise him with resounding cymbals.
Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD."
-Psalm 150
I am 22 years old. I have only lived on this earth for a little while. I realize now that God has saved me from many heart breaks growing up, even though I was insecure and had idols as a believer, God broke me, convicted me, rescued me and redeemed me. I am no longer that insecure teenage girl. I am striving to be a Godly woman of God; a woman of prayer; a woman of faith. And even though I have doubts, God is ALWAYS faithful to assure me, grab me in his arms and pick me up out of the water. Even when I take my eyes off of Jesus because of unconfessed sin, he is always there to convict me and to bring me back to him. Praise God in the storm, praise God in the doubts, praise God in the joyful times, praise God in everything! "Do not let satan have a foothold," -Ephesians 4:27. Do not let satan steal my joy in Christ. Satan can only take my daily satisifaction, but he CANNOT take my salvation! God is teaching me that I need to wake up EVERY day and declare to satan that he is NOT going to steal my saitisfaction in Jesus TODAY. And that is my joy; that satan would consider me such a threat to him that he has to attack me personally! But even when satan tries to get me down and remind me of my shortcomings or try to get me to doubt my salvation, all I need to do is to remind him of his future and that he is and has already lost the battle and the war! Praise God that I am his child, a daughter of the One True King all thanks to the saving power and blood of Jesus Christ my Lord and Savior! And because he lives, I live! Blessed the Lord oh my soul!
Salvation is a one time experience, santification is a daily relationship with Jesus Christ.
